Atlanta, GA – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near Edgewood Ave

Each year, vehicle accidents in Georgia leave tens of thousands of people injured. Accidents take place frequently, leaving many people to deal with overwhelming consequences. In many cases, people are harmed in accidents due to the negligence of others. Some of the leading factors in car crashes across our state include:

  • Distracted driving: This can include talking to passengers, talking or texting on your phone, eating and drinking, or looking at something outside the car.
  • Speeding: This action occurs when a driver exceeds the posted speed limit or drives too fast for the road conditions. Speeding increases both the risk of a crash and the severity of injuries if a crash does occur.
  • DUI: DUI, or driving under the influence, refers to driving an automobile while impaired by drugs or alcohol. Both prescription and illegal drugs can impair your ability to drive safely. If you take medication, check with your doctor or pharmacist to see if it could affect your ability to drive before getting behind the wheel.

If you have been harmed as a result of an accident caused by another driver’s negligence, you may be able to file a personal injury claim.
