Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Multiple-Driver Wreck on I-85 at Cleveland Ave
Last updated Wednesday, January 18th, 2023
Atlanta, GA (October 30, 2022) – Several cars and other vehicles collided in the Atlanta region on October 30, hurting a number of individuals.
Following an incident on southbound Interstate 85 just before the Cleveland Avenue exit, access to the right lanes was temporarily limited.
At approximately 11:20 p.m., the emergency services, including the fire department and ambulance service, were sent. A third driver may have been engaged in the incident between a tractor-trailer and another passenger car at first appearance. However, further study is needed to confirm this hypothesis. The causes leading up to the tragedy and the elements that ultimately led to its occurrence remain unknown.
Most neighboring traffic was unable to use the road for between 30 minutes and an hour. However, the police have just said that they are investigating the incident and have not provided any other information.
Our thoughts remain with the injured victims and their families at this time.
Frequency of Atlanta-area Car Accidents
One of the most common causes of death and property damage on Georgia’s highways is collisions involving semi-trucks and other heavy vehicles. Passenger-vehicle drivers in Georgia are at risk whenever a truck approaches or collides with their vehicles, which are much bigger than the vast majority of other vehicles on the road.
Truck-related fatalities are much too common in Georgia as a result. A total of 250 Georgians are killed each year as a result of the sad events mentioned in this article. An attorney should be called promptly if you or someone you know has been injured in a semi-truck accident.
