Atlanta, GA – I-85 Site of Injury-Causing Collision at Camp Creek Pkwy

Atlanta, GA (December 1, 2022) – On Thursday, December 1, an automobile collision happened on a highway near Atlanta, resulting in at least one or more injuries.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, the incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. in the area of Camp Creek Parkway from Interstate 85’s southbound lanes. Two vehicles reportedly collided as traffic slowed approaching the Camp Creek exit. News footage from the scene showed both cars with front-end and back-end damage.
A number of local responders, including paramedics, Atlanta firefighters, and others, were sent to the area to help victims in need. At least one person sustained injuries as a consequence of the accident. The individual(s) in question were quickly transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment; however, it is now unclear how they are doing.
Due to the temporary closure of several lanes, there were delays in traffic until the police could completely clear the area.
