Atlanta, GA (January 8, 2023) – In the earlier afternoon hours of Sunday, a major roadway in the Atlanta region saw a significant rear-end collision, according to authorities.
At 2:45 p.m., a vehicle caught fire after a three-car accident on southbound I-75, just before the Hudson Bridge Road exit ramp. The cars apparently went off the road in the center and right lanes, as shown by news footage taken at the scene. The event caused a one-hour delay in traffic, and given the damage to at least two of the cars, they had to be towed away.
Atlanta’s emergency medical services and firefighters treated the injured, but their present conditions remain unknown.
The cause of today’s accident is still being determined.
Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their families.

Injuries and even death may occur at low speeds. Accident victims may succumb to injuries such as broken bones and spinal cord injuries.
