Atlanta, GA (January 25, 2023) – In the earlier afternoon hours of Wednesday, January 25th, a major roadway in the Atlanta region saw a significant rear-end collision involving at least two semi-trucks, according to authorities.

At 2:50 p.m., a semi was involved in an accident with another large truck on southbound I-75, just before the Hudson Bridge Road exit ramp. The cars apparently went off the road in the center and right lanes, as shown by news footage taken at the scene. The event caused a one-hour delay in traffic, and given the damage to at least two of the trucks, they had to be towed away.

Atlanta’s emergency medical services and firefighters treated the injured, but their present conditions remain unknown.

The cause of today’s accident is still being determined.
