Walking is a great way to get from one place to another and get exercise as well. However, there are dangers that come with walking along or on our roadways. Though drivers are supposed to pay close attention to the roads around them, they do not always do this. This means that a pedestrian’s life could be turned upside-down due to an accident in the blink of an eye. Georgia actually ranks as one of the worst states for pedestrian accidents. In 2021, in fact, over 348 people were killed in fatal pedestrian accidents in Georgia.
