Atlanta, GA (March 16, 2023) – A dump truck accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta on the morning of Thursday, March 16.

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at 10:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of I-20. Police confirmed that a dump truck was traveling in the northbound lanes of traffic when it was involved in a collision with one or more passenger vehicles due to unknown reasons. The involved vehicles were severely damaged in the accident.

Several Atlanta responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt in the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
