Atlanta, GA - Car Accident, Injuries on I-285 at I-75 Under Investigation

Atlanta, GA (January 7, 2023) – A major incident involving a number of drivers occurred on Saturday at around 3:30 p.m. in the Atlanta area, resulting in the closure of a major roadway.

The Atlanta Police Department is now investigating a crash that took place on westbound I-285 at the interchange with I-75 at Exit 20. Traffic in both directions was stopped on the right side of the road due to two separate rear-end accidents occurring almost simultaneously.

City authorities in Atlanta sent firemen and EMTs to the site of the car collision to assist the injured. Two people were injured, although it’s still unknown how severely.

The Atlanta Police Department has said they are conducting an investigation into the event and have requested that any residents or witnesses get in touch with them as soon as possible.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their loved ones at this time.

Car Accidents in the Atlanta Area

Any time tragedy strikes on one of Georgia’s main thoroughfares is too long to wait. Aggressive driving, reckless driving, and driving under the influence are all variables that might contribute to a collision.
