Athens, GA – One Injured in Car Crash at River Rd & E Campus Rd
Athens, GA (September 6, 2022) – One person was hurt in a serious car accident that took place at an intersection in Athens on Friday evening, September 2.
The University of Georgia Police Department confirmed that the accident happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of River Road and East Campus Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The involved vehicles collided with one another, leading to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Athens responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries.
