South Carolina High-Speed Collisions

Anderson, SC - At Least One Hurt After Crash at Whitner St & Michelin Blvd

Speeding is one of the top five factors contributing to fatalities and serious injuries in car crashes statewide, according to data from the South Carolina Department of Public Safety’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan. Statistics show that speeding accounts for 30% of all road fatalities in the United States each year. A total of 9,738 persons nationwide lost their lives in 2018 as a result of speeding drivers. When drivers violate the law while operating a car, they should be held accountable.

Before contacting your insurance provider, you should seek medical attention, then consult with a lawyer who has prior expertise working within the South Carolina legal system, and only then should you make the initial call. If you want to make sure that your legal rights are taken care of, you should seriously consider getting legal representation for yourself. In an effort to take advantage of you, a large insurance company may try to trick you into accepting a lower settlement offer by using their size and influence over you.

The settlement awarded to you for your personal injuries may pay some of the out-of-pocket costs you experienced as a direct result of your accident. In South Carolina, settlements for personal injuries could include expenses, including medical expenditures, pain and suffering charges, lost wages, prescription drug prices, and possibly lost future earning potential. Insurance may pay for unintentional losses, but you will need legal representation to get all the compensation you are entitled to.

Your chances of winning your personal injury case significantly increase if you have an Anderson vehicle accident attorney on your side.
