Athens, GA – Driver Injured in Car Crash at Carlton St & River Rd
Athens, GA (August 26, 2022) – One person was injured in a serious car accident that took place at an intersection on Thursday afternoon, August 25, in Athens.
The University of Georgia Police Department confirmed that the accident happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Carlton Street and River Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
