Emma Fennelly is a Georgia trial attorney who combines thoughtful advocacy with a genuine commitment to helping others. Guided by the belief that every person deserves respect and kindness, Emma approaches each case with diligence, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility to the clients she serves.
Emma earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia before obtaining her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. Her background in psychology provides valuable insight into the challenges people face during difficult times and helps shape her client-centered approach to legal representation.
Throughout her career, Emma has demonstrated her ability to handle complex and high-stakes matters. Among her proudest professional accomplishments is securing a defense verdict after a week-long jury trial, a result that reflected her preparation, determination, and skill in the courtroom. She also achieved an unexpected victory for a client in a trucking case involving highly contested liability and damages exceeding ten million dollars, successfully obtaining summary judgment despite the significant challenges presented by the case.
Emma’s greatest hope is to leave the world a better place than she found it. She believes that success is measured not only by results, but also by how people are treated along the way. One of the most important lessons she has learned is that everyone is carrying experiences and challenges that may not be visible to others. Because of that, she strives to approach every interaction with empathy, understanding, and respect. She also believes life should be enjoyed and values finding balance through meaningful experiences and time spent with loved ones.
Originally from Thomasville, Georgia, Emma grew up in a close-knit family with her parents, two older brothers, and the family dog. Her childhood was filled with swimming, tennis, and spending time outdoors. She credits her father as one of the greatest influences in her life. As an immigrant from Ireland who built a successful career through hard work and perseverance, he taught her the importance of dedication, kindness, and creating opportunities for others. Her brothers have also played a significant role in shaping who she is, serving as lifelong role models and sources of encouragement.
Outside the office, Emma enjoys cooking, reading, playing tennis, and taking walks with her dog. She is passionate about travel and hopes to explore Southeast Asia in the future.
For Emma, the practice of law is ultimately about people. She believes every client deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and honesty. Whether handling a complex legal dispute or guiding someone through a difficult chapter in life, she is committed to providing thoughtful counsel and steadfast advocacy every step of the way.
