York, SC – Jennifer Timmons Killed When Motorist Runs Stop Sign at Old Limestone & Meadow Rd
York, SC (June 16, 2022) – A woman was killed after her vehicle was hit by a driver who ran a stop sign in York on Wednesday afternoon, June 15. The deadly accident was reported at the intersection of Old Limestone and Meadow Roads at around 2:30 p.m.
Local reports indicated that Jennifer Timmons of Smyrna was driving a Nissan Altima when she was struck by a Nissan Versa driven by Amy Staff of Charlotte. Staff reportedly ran a stop sign while headed south on Meadow Road.
Timmons suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Staff was charged by local authorities. No other injuries were reported.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
