At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
We offer our sympathies to the family of David Campbell at this time.
Fatal Truck Accidents in South Carolina
Fatal accidents take the lives of hundreds of people in South Carolina each year. Unfortunately, commercial vehicles are often involved in these accidents. Accidents involving trucks and commercial vehicles are more likely to result in severe injuries for those involved.
The size of the vehicles, the force of impact, and the speed at which they are traveling are all factors that contribute to the severity of injuries sustained in a truck accident.
Trucks are much larger and heavier than passenger vehicles, so when they collide with smaller cars, the results can be devastating. The weight and momentum of a truck can cause it to crush smaller vehicles, making it difficult for occupants to escape or survive the collision. In addition, truck accidents often occur at high speeds, which increases the risk of serious injuries or fatalities.
