Summerville, SC – Passenger Hurt in Fatal Crash at Wildgame & Woodrow Rd

Summerville, SC (July 28, 2022) – A driver was killed and a passenger injured following a single-vehicle crash in Summerville on Wednesday night, July 27. The deadly accident took place at the corner of Wilgame and Woodrow Roads at around 10:30 p.m. 

Local reports revealed that a 2003 GMC SUV was headed southbound when it left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the SUV was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

The identities of the involved parties have not been revealed at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
