Stone Mtn, GA – Crew Member Injured in Workplace Accident at Stone Mtn Park 

Stone Mountain, GA (April 7, 2022) – On Monday, April 4, a crew member was hurt in a workplace accident at Stone Mountain. 

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in Georgia, the accident took place on set of the Tales of the Walking Dead show. A crew member was working in the area when she fell from the top deck of a riverboat. The employee struck the railing on the lower level of the boat and fell into the lake. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help the unidentified worker. She was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The victim was rushed into surgery but her current condition is not yet known. 

Due to the severity of the accident, the area was blocked off for some time. 

No further details have been released but OSHA and police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
