Deadly Tractor-Trailer Crashes in South Carolina
Trucking is the main mode of transporting freight in South Carolina, and there are 27,770 tractor-trailer drivers living in the state. Long-distance freight movement is made possible by our state-maintained 41,000 miles of roadways and our interstate system, which includes I-20, I-26, I-77, I-85, and I-95. What is good for business and the economy may also pose serious safety risks. All 46 of our counties have significant truck-related traffic accidents.
Even though they present a significant risk to drivers, large trucks are an essential part of the economies of South Carolina and the United States. A truck accident lawyer might be of assistance to you and your family in the event that you or a loved one has been injured as a result of the negligence of a truck driver. When they collide with another vehicle, trucks produce a far higher amount of force because of their size and weight. When a truck collision occurs, there are often numerous other vehicles involved.
Accident cases involving trucks need a unique approach, in contrast to the majority of auto accident cases. They are far more complicated and need a very different kind of work than the ordinary requirements of an auto accident. There is a chance that some attorneys who don’t have experience handling truck accidents may take on your case, but they won’t be ready to go up against a large trucking corporation and its army of lawyers.
