Snellville, GA – Man Injured in House Fire on Tree Ln 

Snellville, GA (July 18, 2022) – Around 11:35 p.m. on the night of Sunday, July 17, a man was hurt in a house fire that took place in Snellville. 

According to Snellville Police officials, the fire happened at 1300 Tree Lane. A caller reached fire crews and claimed that a grill caught on fire. When crews arrived at the scene, they discovered that heavy fire was showing from the rear of a large two-story residence. Fire crews launched an interior attack but the fire became too intense at one point. Everybody inside the home was able to evacuate and get to safety. 

Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene to assist those in need. An adult male who was inside the home at the time of the fire received a burn injury. At the time, it is believed that he was attempting to extinguish the fire. He was treated at the scene and is expected to be okay. 

The area was blocked off for some time. It took fire crews an extended amount of time to bring the fire under control. 

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
