Savannah, GA – Trolley Accident with Injuries at W Oglethorpe Ave & Fahm St
Savannah, GA (June 16, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a trolley accident that took place at an intersection in Savannah on Thursday morning, June 16.
According to Savannah Police, the accident happened at the intersection of West Oglethorpe Avenue and Fahm Street. Due to reasons that are not yet known, an SUV and a trolley were traveling in the area when they collided forcefully with each other. Both vehicles sustained minor damage as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A total of nine people were injured in the accident. The parties were all rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
