Sandy Springs, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-75

Sandy Springs, GA (May 13, 2022) – At 11:31 p.m. on the night of Friday, May 13, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place on a highway in Sandy Springs. 

According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened at 11:31 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 252, Northridge Road. It was determined that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known. 

Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police were able to clear the scene. 

Police continue their investigation into the accident.
