Rossville, GA – Three-Vehicle Crash at James St & Wilson Rd Intersection

Rossville, GA (April 28, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious car accident involving three vehicles at a Rossville intersection on Thursday evening, April 28.

According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened at the intersection of James Street and Wilson Road. A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling in the area when it failed to stop at the intersection before making a left turn. The truck pulled into the path of a bus that was headed north on Wilson. The two vehicles collided, sending the bus into a Ford Bronco that was waiting to make a turn at the intersection. The vehicles all sustained damage as a result of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. There were nine children on the bus involved in the accident. The nine children and the bus driver were all treated at the scene for injuries. It is not known if any of the parties were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. There was debris left all over the roadway that had to be cleared.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
