Rossville, GA (December 9, 2022) – Around 9:30 a.m. on the morning of Friday, December 9, a rollover accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Rossville.
According to Rossville officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-2 and Overbrook Drive. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons, causing one of the vehicles to travel off the side of the road. The vehicle, identified as a black pickup truck, overturned in a creek off the side of the road. The vehicles involved sustained severe damage due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Multiple people were allegedly injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
