Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia

Pedestrians are some of the most at-risk parties on our roads in Georgia. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in an accident involving any type of vehicle. Many pedestrians are killed and others are seriously injured in pedestrian accidents each year within the state. In just 2020 alone, it was reported that approximately 273 people were killed in fatal pedestrian accidents due to the negligence of others. Drivers are supposed to pay close attention to the roads around them but these accidents still occur every year. If you have lost someone you love in a pedestrian accident, you should be prepared to speak with an attorney that you can trust.

Losing a loved one in a pedestrian accident can impact every aspect of your life. Many people believe that walking is a safe way to get around but, in many areas of Georgia, it can lead to fatal results. This is especially true when it comes to our major highways. As you are grieving the loss of a loved one, you may wonder how you will afford to pay the bills that continue to pile up against you. You should never have to worry about these aspects entirely on your own. It is imperative that you seek the help of a Port Wentworth wrongful death attorney as soon as possible after your accident.
