Patrick, SC – Two Killed in Rollover Collision on Middendorf Rd
Patrick, SC (October 13, 2022) – A two-vehicle crash outside of Patrick on Wednesday night, October 12, left two people dead and two others injured.
The fatal accident took place on Middendorf Road at around 6 p.m. in Chesterfield County. It was reported that a southbound 2017 Kia SUV left the roadway before re-entering the road. The Kia hit a 2006 Lexus sedan, which caused the sedan to overturn.
Both drivers sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Both vehicles contained a single passenger, and both were flown to a hospital for treatment. One of the passengers was a 17-year-old.
The identities of the deceased have been withheld.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
