Car Accidents in South Carolina
In Anderson and around South Carolina, deadly car accidents are often caused by the reckless actions of other drivers. It is estimated that between March and June of 2020, there was a 50% increase in the number of speeding tickets given out compared to the same period in 2019. Similar drivers were also involved in “other types of unsafe driving,” such as speeding and not wearing seatbelts.
In South Carolina, negligence is a major contributor to traffic accidents and may take many forms. Sometimes, drivers may be speeding or driving too fast for the current climate and road conditions. A driver’s inability to provide full attention to the road may lead them to ignore traffic signals under certain conditions. The safety of all drivers might be at risk.
