South Carolina Traffic Accidents
One of the most dangerous activities we engage in on a daily basis is driving a car. South Carolina had the country’s highest per capita rate of fatal collisions in 2018. With 1,037 fatalities, automobiles, trucks, and SUVs accounted for roughly 65% of all fatal crashes in the state that year. According to data, other motorists are responsible for roughly 82% of all fatal crashes in South Carolina.
Victims and their families may suffer serious injuries as well as financial losses as a result of a catastrophic vehicle accident, and the injuries that accompany them have the potential to completely devastate a victim’s life. Medical expenses, lost wages due to inability to return to work, and long-term agony and suffering may be incurred by car accident victims. Victims and their families may find it difficult to deal with the aftermath of a traffic accident without the help of a North Charleston personal injury lawyer.
