North Charleston, SC (January 23, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a motor vehicle in the North Charleston area on Saturday night, January 22. The deadly accident took place at the 2810 block of Ashley Phosphate Road at around 10:40 p.m.
A male pedestrian was reportedly walking along the roadway when they were struck by an oncoming car. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The deceased victim was later identified as Carlos Dunlap Sr. The driver involved in the deadly accident was found at the scene. No charges have been filed at this time.
