Norcross, GA (January 10, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a serious car accident that took place at a Norcross intersection on the morning of Tuesday, January 10.
According to local officials, the crash took place around 5:40 a.m. at the intersection of Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Holcomb Bridge Road. Police confirmed that at least two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked for some time at the intersection. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
