Newberry, SC – Update: Colin Kittrell Killed in Collision on SC-34

Newberry, SC (December 11, 2021) – Authorities have identified the three people killed in a head-on crash in Newberry on Friday afternoon, November 10. The deadly accident was reported on SC-34 near Industrial Park Road at around 3:15 p.m. 

A car driven by a 17-year-old Saluda teen reportedly collided head-on with another vehicle operated by 21-year-old Colin Kittrell of Greer. Both drivers sustained fatal injuries in the crash. A passenger in the first vehicle, another 17-year-old from Saluda, was also killed. 

The identities of the other victims have been withheld. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal collision is in progress.
