Monroe, GA (November 28, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious car accident that took place at an intersection in Monroe on Saturday afternoon, November 26.
According to Walton County Sheriff’s Office responders, the accident happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of GA-138 and Rowe Road. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
