Marietta, GA – Update: Lauren Coyne Killed in Fatal Truck Crash on I-75
Marietta, GA (March 18, 2022) – On Thursday morning, March 17, a woman was killed in a truck accident that took place in Marietta.
According to Marietta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Delk Road. A 30-year-old woman identified as Lauren Coyne was traveling in the area when she suddenly lost control of her vehicle, causing it to rotate into other lanes of traffic. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area and the driver did not see her vehicle in time. This caused the truck to slam into Coyne’s vehicle.

The roadway was blocked in all lanes of traffic until approximately 6:30 a.m. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
