Lexington, SC – Lee Baxley Dies in Motorcycle Crash with Pickup at Jim Spence & Pat Rd
Lexington, SC (May 10, 2022) – A local man was killed following a two-vehicle crash in Lexington on Monday evening, May 9. The fatal accident occurred near the crossing of Jim Spence and Pat Roads at around 6:20 p.m.
Local reports revealed that 44-year-old Lee Baxley of Lexington was riding a 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle headed eastbound. He was reportedly hit by a 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck that was making a left turn at the intersection.
Baxley sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported in the accident. At this time, no additional information has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
