Lancaster, SC – Two Killed in DUI Crash at Woodland Dr & West Meeting St
Lancaster, SC (December 1, 2021) – Two Lancaster men were killed following a DUI collision in Lancaster on Friday evening, November 26. The accident occurred at 9 p.m. at the intersection of Woodland Drive and W. Meeting Street.
According to local reports, a GMC Acadia ran a red light at the crossroads. The vehicle crashed into a Honda Civic. The impact caused two men inside the Honda to sustain fatal injuries.
The deceased parties were later identified as 23-year-old Luis Hernandez-Gomez and 22-year-old Luis Gomez-Roman, both from Lancaster. Two children in the Acadia were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the GMC, 34-year-old Quinton Harris, of Lancaster, was arrested for driving under the influence.
An ongoing crash investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
