Keysville, GA (January 18, 2023) – Around 9 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, January 18, a woman was killed in a fatal car accident in Keysville.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened on Story Mill Road around the area of Corley Road. Police confirmed that a vehicle was traveling south when the driver lost control due to unknown reasons. Their vehicle crossed the center line, driving off the road and flipping several times. This led to extensive damage to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The up-front passenger in the SUV, identified as 24-year-old Annibel Hall, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Her unborn child was also pronounced deceased, as she was 19 weeks pregnant. The female driver was ejected and sustained serious injuries but is expected to be okay. There were two children in the backseat, but they were not injured.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible so traffic could return to normal.
