Kennesaw, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision at Kennesaw Barrett Pkwy & Cobb Pl Blvd 

Kennesaw, GA (September 19, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a tractor-trailer accident that took place at a Kennesaw intersection on Monday morning, September 19. 

According to Kennesaw officials, the accident happened around 5:27 a.m. at the intersection of Kennesaw Barrett Parkway and Cobb Place Boulevard. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it entered the intersection and collided with an SUV. Both vehicles sustained severe damages and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were treated at the scene by EMS crews and then hospitalized. 

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible so traffic could resume as normal. 

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
