Kennesaw, GA (January 17, 2023) – Around 12:42 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 17, a car accident with injuries occurred at a Kennesaw intersection.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Wade Green Road and George Busbee Parkway. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they simultaneously entered the intersection, causing them to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Kennesaw responders were called to the scene to help those in need. EMS crews were present at the scene to assist the injured individuals. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use an alternate route and avoid the area until the scene was cleared.
