Kennesaw, GA (January 23, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place at a Kennesaw intersection on the afternoon of Monday, January 23.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened around 12:55 p.m. at the intersection of Barrett Parkway and Ridenour Boulevard. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection simultaneously, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged in the collision and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders in Kennesaw were dispatched to the scene to assist those with injuries. The parties who were injured in the accident were treated at the scene by EMS crews. They were then rushed to local hospitals for further treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in both directions until the scene was cleared.
