Hiram, GA (December 15, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Hiram on the evening of Wednesday, December 14.
According to Paulding County deputies, the accident happened around 6:27 p.m. at the intersection of Bill Carruth Parkway and Nebo Road. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other after entering the intersection. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be towed away from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
