Greenville, SC – Update: Sandra Wilson Killed in Pedestrian Crash at Academy & Calhoun St

Greenville, SC (September 7, 2022) – Authorities have identified the woman who was killed in a pedestrian crash in Greenville on Monday, September 5. 

Late that night, 55-year-old Sandra Elizabeth Wilson was traveling near the intersection of Academy and Calhoun Streets. When Wilson stepped onto the roadway, she was hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. Wilson suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma. No further information has been provided. 

An ongoing crash investigation is in progress.
