Greenville, SC (August 6, 2022) – Officials report that, on Saturday evening, August 6, a hit-and-run collision in the Greenville region resulted in the hospitalization of at least one individual.
Greenville Police Department officers and South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers responded to a collision near the intersection of Haynesworth Road and Lakeview Drive at 10:27 p.m.
Troopers with the State Highway Patrol, operating in conjunction with the GPD, quickly blocked off the junction as they tried to remove the wreckage from the site. As investigators learned that one of the implicated motorists left the site of the collision, paramedics administered treatment to the injured person and transferred them to a nearby hospital.
