Greenville, SC – Driver Killed, Passenger Hurt in Crash on I-385
Greenville, SC (May 11, 2022) – A driver was killed and their passenger injured following a single-vehicle crash in Greenville on Wednesday morning, May 11. The deadly accident was reported on Interstate 385 at around 1 a.m.
Two people were riding in a vehicle when the driver lost control and crashed into a guardrail. The vehicle left the right side of the road. The passenger riding in the car was taken to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased party was identified as 33-year-old Kiana Decheroity Rainey. The crash was reportedly caused by a blown tire.
