Gainesville, GA – One Injured in Car Accident in SB Lanes of Queen City Pkwy
Gainesville, GA (March 18, 2022) – Around 4:54 a.m. on the morning of Friday, March 18, one person was injured in a car accident in Gainesville.
According to Hall County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the Queen City Parkway around the area of mile marker 19. Several vehicles were allegedly traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One individual, who has not yet been identified, was injured as a result of the accident. The injured party was taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in all southbound lanes of traffic for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
