Fort Oglethorpe, GA (December 29, 2022) – Around 6:51 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, December 29, a rear-end collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe.

According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and South Cedar Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. One of the involved vehicles slammed into the back of the other in a rear-end collision that led to damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
