Fort Oglethorpe, GA (April 18, 2022) – On Friday afternoon, April 15, a motorcycle crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened around 4:29 p.m. at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway and Fant Drive. A motorcyclist was traveling in the area when they suddenly entered the intersection at the same time as a passenger vehicle, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The motorcycle was badly damaged and debris was left scattered all over the road in the area.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was severely injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment. Nobody else sustained injuries in the accident.
The roadway was almost entirely blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
