Flowery Branch, GA (January 17, 2023) – At 8:16 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, January 17, a car accident with injuries took place in Flowery Branch.

According to local officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-985 around the area of exit 12, Spout Springs Road. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction collision due to reasons that are not yet known. The roads were wet at the time of the accident due to rain in the area. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged due to the accident.
