Elgin, SC – Jack Hall Dies in Structure Fire on Highway Church Rd

Elgin, SC (December 30, 2021) – One person was left dead following a structure fire in Elgin on Wednesday evening, December 29. The deadly incident was reported at a residence at the 1500 block of Highway Church Road at around 8:14 p.m. 

Firefighters and emergency responders were called to the scene. The fire left one man dead. The deceased party was later identified as 70-year-old Jack Hall. At this time, the cause of the fire has not been released. No additional information on the deadly fire has been released at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
