Easley, SC – Man Killed in Apt Complex Fire on Terrace Dr
Easley, SC (July 24, 2022) – On Friday afternoon, July 22, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the State Fire Marshal were investigating a fatal fire at an apartment complex in Easley.
According to a statement from the Pickens County Coroner’s Office, 60-year-old Vincent Dehart was declared deceased at the site. On Friday about 5:30 p.m., the fire broke out in Dehart’s second-floor unit at 105 East Terrace Drive.
Dehart died from inhalation of smoke and burns, and despite emergency medical treatment administered by medics at the site, he succumbed to his injuries.
Currently, the issue remains under investigation, and no additional details on the cause of the blaze were immediately clear.
