Doraville, GA (January 30, 2023) – Injuries stemmed from a serious truck accident that took place on the morning of Monday, January 30, in Doraville.
According to Doraville Police, the accident happened around 8 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of exit 31, Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. Police confirmed that a tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it became involved in a collision with at least one or two passenger vehicles. The involved vehicles were severely damaged in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties were allegedly injured in the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not currently known.
The left lane of traffic was blocked for an extended period of time, which led to delays until the scene was cleared.
