Decatur, GA (December 22, 2022) – A rear-end collision with injuries took place on a highway in Decatur on the morning of Thursday, December 22.
According to Decatur Police, the accident happened around 7:58 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Flat Shoals Road (exit 48). Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when one slammed into the back of the other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Several responders, including Decatur fire crews and paramedics, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident. The unidentified parties were rushed to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
