Darlington, SC – Robin Nichole Knotts Killed in DUI Crash at Sansbury & Oak Stump Rd
Darlington, SC (December 2, 2021) – A Timmonsville woman was charged in connection with a deadly crash in Darlington on Saturday night, November 27. The deadly collision took place at the crossing of Sansbury and Oak Stump Roads at around 9:12 p.m.
Barnhill was reportedly driving a 2008 GMC SUV on S. Sansbury Road when she left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The driver and backseat passenger were transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries.
The passenger, Robin Nichole Knotts of Lamar, was later pronounced dead. Barnhill was later charged with felony DUI with death. No further information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing crash investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
